Product Description
Vacuum casting refers to the use of the original prototype, the production of silicone molds in a vacuum state, and the use of PU, silicone, nylon, ABS, and other materials cast in a vacuum state, so as to clone the same replica as the original prototype, with a reversion rate of 99.8%.
Vacuum casting advantages compared to other hand plate processes, have the following characteristics: no mold, low processing costs, short production cycle, high simulation, suitable for small batch production, and other characteristics. Vacuum casting is a versatile process with many applications in different industries.
Before making a CNC silicone hand plate model, you need to make a prototype. The prototype can be made by 3D printing or CNC.
After the prototype is ready, start making the silicone mold.
After 8 hours of drying, cut the silicone mold and take out the prototype. At this point, the silicone mold is ready.
Inject the liquid resin material into the silicone mold, after drying. The transparent silicone mold's service life is about 15-25 mold times.
Use CNC, SLA, or 3D printing to process the prototype and make the spout.
Surround the prototype with a plate to prepare for the mold.
Pour the vacuumed liquid silicone into the mold and cover all the products.
Bake the mold in the oven to accelerate the curing of the silicone mold.
Remove the prototype from the mold.
1. Low production costs. Machining costs are also much lower than CNC machining and 3D printing. It is a cost effective method for making high quality prototypes and low volumes of parts.
2. Short production cycle. Eliminate the time to open the mold, greatly providing production efficiency.
3. No mold opening. Save the time of mold opening, win valuable time for customers to research and develop new products, seize the market standby.
4. High degree of restoration, processing failure rate is small.
5. Suitable for small batch production, short customization time, low cost.
6. Exquisite and meticulous workmanship, no burrs.
