The customer was from Germany and asked YEESHINE to make EPDM Rubber Parts. Then the customer communicated with us about the details of the project.

After a lot of discussion, the customer chose to trust us and cooperate with us on the EPDM Rubber Parts project.

Here we share with you the rubber compression molding process.

Basic part information of Molded EPDM Rubber

• Part size: 4.2*4.0*2.3 cm

• Plastic material: Molded EPDM Rubber

• Hardness: Shore 53°±5°

• Color: Black

• Weight: less than 30 gram

• Production volume: 100-500K shots

Processing of Molded EPDM Rubber

Before mass production, we also faced the following issues:

1. During the first trial, there was a split issue at the internal corner.

2. In the second compression from another direction, the side area broke when pulling the part out.

We kept posted and communicated the issue in a positive way. This compression Molded EPDM Rubber part required an additional 1-2mm of material at the internal sharp corner to ensure the part could be pulled out from the tooling and avoid breaking.

The customer needed the delivery urgently and requested customized packaging. We packed the rubber bushing in bags (6x100 pcs) in one neutral carton for the mockup. Each carton was labeled with issue labels, one label on each carton.
